Distracted by the Past
~ Luke 9:62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
Leave the Past of Success!
~ Philippians 3:7-10 But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, 9 and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, 10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;
~ Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,
Leave the Past of Tradition!
Exercise wisdom with regard to Tradition!
~ Ephesians 5:15 Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise,
Leave the Past of Sin!
~ Luke 13:3 I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
~ Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? 2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
~ Romans 8:13 for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
~ Romans 5:20 The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,

So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
