Prayer and Faith
Prayer – a time to talk with our Lord and lay all our concerns at His feet.
At the time of penning these thoughts, my heart is heavy with the devastating news of, our precious sister in Christ, Nadine Lear’s illness. Because of her tremendous faith, and through many prayers, she is sure of her recovery.
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
This also floods my thoughts of 29 years ago when our son was hit by a car and in a coma for six days before being called home to be with our Lord. When he was laid to rest on our 20th wedding anniversary, George remarked that, “it was David’s victory celebration.” So, with our faith, our prayers, and the prayers of others, our family found peace, the eternal peace that David waits for us.
“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” John 14:3
Some days we feel our prayers are not being answered, but God is listening and the answers come “in His time.” To God be the glory!
