Jesus is Greater than Doubt
I John 5
Be Confident in Jesus Christ.
Be confident in the Person of Jesus Christ.
~ Matthew 3:17 “. . . and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.’”
~ Matthew 16:16 “Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.’”
Be confident in the Testimonies for Jesus Christ.
~ I John 1:7 “. . . but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
~ I John 2:2 “. . . and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.”
Be Confident in Eternal Life.
Be confident in God’s Gift.
~ I Timothy 2:3-4 “This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
~ II Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
Be confident in God’s Means to the Gift.
~ Romans 8:1 “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
Be Confident in Prayer.
Trust God’s Presence.
~ Hebrews 4:13 “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.”
~ II Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will surely have wars.”
Trust God’s Sovereignty.
~ Matthew 6:10 “Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.”
Trust God’s Ability.
~ Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
~ Mark 11:24 “Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.”
~ Luke 1:37 “For nothing will be impossible with God.”
~ Genesis 18:14 “Is anything too difficult for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”
~ Numbers 11:23 “The Lord said to Moses, ‘Is the Lord’s power limited? Now you shall see whether My word will come true for you or not.’”
