Prayer, for me, is a priority in my life because it gives me, and actually all of us, an opportunity to have a relationship with our Lord. He is always there waiting for us to call upon Him. All we need to do is first talk to Him. He desires and wants that fellowship with each of us.
As believers, who have been touched by God’s grace, we are blessed beyond measure. He sent His Son to die for our sins. God has given us the priceless gifts of eternal love and eternal life.
We, in turn, are instructed to approach our Heavenly Father with reverence and thanksgiving. But, as people, we are busy and get caught up in the inevitable demands of every day life. We sometimes fail to pause and thank our Creator for those countless blessings that He has bestowed upon us.
The words of 1 Thessalonians 5:18 reminds us to give thanks in every circumstance of life.
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
